Rocket Wax Wash & Gloss Review

Hello All,
I`ve recently been trying some new products from Rocket Wax, a small company out of Los Angeles. I am studying entrepreneurship in college, so I love trying out new products from small companies. This company does not manufacture its own products, but it resells them and works directly with the company to specific specifications (like most companies out there). A few things to keep in mind before I start the review--I wash this car at a self-serve wash bay (2-bucket and all), the car has never been polished (just came into my possession a few short months ago), and I unfortunately do not have a picture of the bottle.

Packaging:
Like I said, I don`t have a picture of the bottle but it is very good packaging. Clear plastic bottle with a flip cap, high quality waterproof labels, and the soap is purple.

Condition of the Car:
Here is the condition of the car. It is my personal 1991 Cadillac Deville that was my Grandmothers and Grandfathers. The car has not been washed for about two weeks and have driven through multiple rain storms. The car was also covered in pollen.

Cleaning Ability:
Rocket Wax Wash and Gloss is concentrated and cuts through dirt very well. The car wasn`t washed for a full 2 weeks and had tons of dirt from the rain and pollen all over. It cut through it easily and did not seem to affect the LSP. For a soap with a gloss enhancer, I was impressed.

Suds:
The suds from the soap are pretty good, but nothing special. I used two ounces in a 5 gallon bucket. No abundant amount of foam, but definitely enough there for me to give it a solid mark in this category. Lots of people mistake suds for lubricity. Generally, if a soap has a lot of foam there tends to be good lubrication, however not all the time. For example, my favorite maintenance soap is a low foaming soap, but has tonssss of lubricity. Lubricity is more important to me than suds.

Lubricity:
The lubricity on this soap is not great, but seems to be enough to safely remove the dirt away. It is definitely the slickest soap on the market, but it is decent. I was a little disappointed in the suds and lubricity category.

Final Results/ Thoughts:
This soap rinses very easily and does not hang around taking tons of water to remove. It also seems to leave no residue, even though it has a gloss enhancer in it. Some soaps with gloss enhancers leave a residue and it is difficult to remove. I used my Rocket Wax Detail Spray to dry the car and did nothing else to it. Here are the results:

The results are great. The car is 25 years old and currently has no wax on it (just Sonax PNS). The car is hammered with swirls from being used in the machine car wash for many years, but eventually will hope to do a correction when I have the car not in my dorm room parking lot.

As for the review, I think this soap is decent. It is more concentrated than most soaps (only 2 oz needed, not 4-5). The soap also rinses very easily which is a huge plus. This soap doesn`t have the most suds or the most lubricity but definitely pretty good (B+). The price is a big plus at $8 for 16oz and $20 for a gallon. Overall, I think this soap is a great maintenance shampoo and works well.

Not enough lubricity = deal breaker. Thanks for the review. Also if it had PNS on it, it would have come clean and shined if you used dove.......

The detail spray looks like relabeled Adams Detail Spray. The bottle and spray trigger looks exactly the same. Even the label looks similar.

I have an 89 Coupe de Ville that is a prized possession. When you go to correct you`ll find the clear is hard. Be prepared for that.
