I don't think it will, but others swear it helps. I have tried flax seed oil on the back side of leather and it worked great.

Sep 20, 2008 #5 L Lumadar New member Try kneading it with a hot, damp towel(Or a steamer would be better)? Then once the pores are open try hitting it with some conditioner of choice.
