Got my RMG today and I was so impressed with it I had to post. I was going to follow up with EXP x 2 then P21S x 2 but now I'm not sure I might goto P21s and skip the EXP. this is only 1 coat of RMG maybe I'll try 2 also. Hints welcome !:xyxthumbs

Nice work! I picked up my RMG this week and will try it out this Saturday. I hope it turns out as nice as yours.

I talked to a guy at ClearKote and he advised that only 1 coat of RMG is all that is needed. He said there's no benefit of a 2nd coat, but maybe someone else has heard/done different.

Question: Did you apply by hand or machine?

Very nice. However, Im not sure that you will get much out of another application of RMG, as it does have mild chemical cleaners.

Best of luck!

That's very impressive. But that's just too many coats and work for me. I use PBH (1 coat) and Natty's Blue (1 coat) and it already looks like that. Popping! Btw, is that a mustang?

RMG is an absolute must if you want the maximum amount of depth from your finish.

I know you use Clearkote products often, or have in the past, but have you used RMG followed by Yellow Moose Glaze? If so what are your thoughts YMG?

Thanks.

It does add a touch more depth but if you don't have the time, RMG + CMW will give you a superb look.

Yes its a 2003 GT that needed alot of work. I'm real happy on how it's turning out.

And I also applied by the PC speed set at 3-4 when I could.

One of Scotwax's favorite Pink moose Glaze ( a mix or red and yellow) also leaves a awesome finish.

Actually, VM + RMG is Pink Moose. I think red and yellow would make Orange Moose. :lol

Hope this doesn't hijack, but I was meaning to ask about RMG as I've just used it recently as well.

Does anyone else have this problem with RMG? The product separates into a muddy brown color on top and cherry colored-slightly translucent liquid on bottom. I shook it for a good few minutes and it took on an oil and vinegar type emulsion. It's probably a year old.

I kept shaking it every time before applying it to a flat black 5.5" detailer's domain pad. It's extremely runny.

The bottle says work it till it dries, but it really just disappears. That takes about 2 passes at speed 5 on a 7424. And wiping it off, there's not much for dust or residue.

After all was said and done, I think it worked with no problems, because the results were impressive. It combo'd well with 915. On metallic bronze the look was reflective, glassy, wet and deep, not necessarily warm, but that's ok.

I then waxed again with 915 the following week for continuity and plan on trying my sampler of Supernatural in a few weeks.

So I hope my question still keeps us on topic. I just need a confidence booster that my application is accurate and the product should separate.

My bad. I had brain freeze and was thinking of Yellow Moose Cream wax. BTW YMCW is a good product also.

I use RMG topped with Souveran (2 coats-several hours or a day apart) on my Toreador red Explorer. Together they look great on this car. For winter, I too was thinking about adding a sealant and I read a lot about EX-P in the Autopia posts.

I have been detailing for a while now but I have just started visiting the forums and I keep seeing all the abbreveations for products and I have absolutely no idea whatr you all are talking about. Can some post the common products you guys are referring to and their abbreveations?
