Question about red machine glaze, does it have any correcting abilities? I have a mustang with good swirls (I would say moderate) in the paint and want to get them out or make them unnoticeable at the shows this summer. I have RMG and Z-PC at home now ans I have a PC with edge pads, could I correct with what I have or do you think I need something else. I know that this is very hard without pics but my camera is on the fritz.

no, the RMG is a glaze, it will not remove any defects. you will need a polish then use the RMG after the polish and before your LSP

With ZPC and the right pads, I dont see a reason why you couldnt atleast take out SOME of the swirls, if not all of them. Chase ZPC with your RMG and then top it with CMW. I'm not sure how aggressive ZPC is as I've never used it, but give it a shot.

out of curiosity where would the vmw fit into this??

VM is a finish polish

and if it were me I would polish with Danase swirl abolisher(or what ever polish you use to remove defects)

then mix the VM + RMG 50-50(to make Scottwax's Pink Moose)

and it will be a finish polish & glaze in one step

RMG (im sure there is a post on here from an email direct from Clearkote, who dident acutally respond to my email last week:cry:) suggest that RMG can be used for defect removal.

By machine it will excert cleaning ability. IM sure it can correct in the same way Poorboys Pro polish (and a few others) are abrasive free but act as a lubricant for a polishing pad. IN this case the pad does the correcting.

Im sure somewhere a post from Clearkote states straight after claying (if you have a machine) apply RMG with polishing pad. Then follow with CMW.
