Just One More Coat
For those of you that don't know but Robert Mondavi the winery icon of Napa Valley passed away at the age of 94 on Friday.
For any of you that have ever raised a glass of CA wine...no matter who the vineyard or wine maker...you can rest with the fact that the Mondavi empire had an influence on them.
I had the pleasure of meeting him at a local grocery store some years back...a great guy down to earth like any regular joe...he was driving an old 450SL MB rag top...I stopped and said something about his car in the parking lot..them realized it was Robert Mondavi..
All I can say is RIP Robert you really went the distance and in a great way..thanks for your contribution to the wine industry!
