Rhino Ramps keep sliding forward

I like Patricks idea placing the 2 x 4 in front of the ramps. I once slid my ramps and my front bumper almost contacted the front wall......talk about heart attack.:scared

It would be nice to find a way to contact the Manufacturer and let them know that this is an issue and better placed rubber pads would be nice.

I can see how someone with RWD would have to anchor the ramps in some fashion to prevent them from moving.

Did you try putting the truck in four wheel drive? Worth a try and probably the easiest.

I never have a problem with my FWD and AWD cars; and they are lighter.

Hmm, I love my Rhinos so far. The scariest thing I've ever seen is how the ramps get stuck under the wheels, lift off the ground (because the pads stick up 1/2"), and then fall back down again as the car moves forward. Still works though.

I always make sure the ground is clean and dust-free under the pads and that the rubber pads are likewise. No slipping so far on my (smooth, unsealed) concrete floor.

I Havn't had any problems with my ramps. They do move forward alittle, I use one foot on the brake and the other on the gas. You do need to give a bit of gas to accellerate up the ramp.

I do the same thing on my automatic car. Try it on a manual. It is MUCH more difficult. I would probably use jack stands on the clearance is difficult to get a jack under the car.

I really like the ramps and have zero complaints.
