:wavey Hi Tony, haven't seen you post in a while, hope everything is going well.

Hi Scott, thanks for the kind words. Yeah, everything's great. I've just been so busy at the office, I tried swearing off addictive forums like Autopia.....

Looks like I'm back on the wagon! (or is it off the wagon?)

Good luck to your Mavs on Monday. Mavs vs. Phoenix will be one hell of a fun series to watch!

Not to stir any flames up but after all the positive posts I've read thru the years if I only get 4 months out of an application of Z2Pro and ZFX I'm going to be disapointed.

Wanna ... When I'm testing I want to test the sealent itself, without protecting it with additional layers of products so I do not use QD's and I'm careful with my choice of shampoos. Under these conditions, FOR ME, most LSP's fail in 4 to 8 weeks. By comparsion, Zaino's 4 months durability is excellent. Again, testing is done on daily drivers (40 miles each per day), both vehicles are parked outside 24/7 in Columbia, SC and are washed once a week by hand or by the occasional drive thru (basic wash).

:)

Since this is getting a bit off topic....

I've seen Sean's work in person a few times -and to say it's impressive is an understatement. There are no 'picture games' going on with his work -ever, and he takes pride in it.

He posts pics at embarrassing angles, where many of us on the boards would not dare to go.

Sean simply posted his view on a new product, and the wolves came out. Why??

Who cares if it's Zaino, Meg's, etc....????

p.s. 3100+ views and counting. Z caused debate unlike ANYTHING I've ever seen.

My post had nothing to do with any of Sean's pictures, at all. It had to do with the post just before mine showing off Souveran.

I am not a "wolf", as I have quite an appreciation for Z (as my other posts in this thread would indicate), and have used it for many years. Perhaps reread the thread before getting all defensive. Thanks

thanks for the clarification-I'm sure that frequent applications of QD will alter true real world durability for the better.

I normally use Z-6 or Z-8 after washes, but when I'm trying to test a product's durability, I never use any QD and never use a product like QEW (which is extremely sealant/wax-friendly) to wash my car. I also try to do my best to wash the car weekly. Furthermore, my car isn't garaged in the evenings. It's under these conditions that I get 4 months of very good beading and a smooth, slick surface with ZFX/Z-2 Pro.

That's exactly what I wanted to know, thank you.

Z2 Pro has slightly more "brightness" and less filling ability. Z5 Pro will allow slightly more filling and a touch more "depth."

Are you guys chemists? Those cars look great to me. Zaino is a good product. A bit pricey. I always wax for extra added protection....no matter what. My customers get at least three different protectants on their vehicles....This is the "Invisible Garage Protection" which is registered and trademarked by my company. Guaranteed to bead for six full months or I do it again FREE! I am a BBB A plus rated business in my area. Based on quality my clients can rely on. I can tell you what products have never let me down but you may not agree so, I don't want to start any debates
