If you're irritated by every rub, how will you be polished :chuckle:

lol...yeah, that quote's as much a reminder for me (probably more so) as for anybody else. :)

One of these days, I'll have to give the SchMITT a try.

I had a chance to try out my new Schmitt last night. In the summer I use traditional soap-and water bucket washes rather than ONR. I really liked it. I had no noticeable marring on my super-soft BMW black paint. The car came very clean. The coarser backside worked VERY well for scrubbing bug guts off of the windows and my clear-bra'd front end with very little pressure needed. I found the tapered edge to fit perfectly between panels.

Unlike you manly men with the big hands, my little hands fit perfectly inside the Schmitt. That's a nice change for me, as I normally find sheepskin mitts annoying in that the holes are large enough that the mitts will fall off as I'm washing. I have to be very careful with sheepskins because of it. The Schmitt just conformed itself to my hand.

I felt it carried water much better than a sheepskin mit, giving me more water to work with when I'm washing. Dirt rinses out of it extremely easily between panels. Grit doesn't seem to stick to the foam.

My .02 :).
