I picked up one of these outhouse brushes at Wal-Mart yesterday 
It worked like a charm!
The yellow sponge/scrubber form fitted between the calipers, and basically made all areas of the inner wheels very easy to reach and clean.
I guess I won't be buying Dollar Store models any longer. I'll splurge for the Wal-Mart Power Poop Scrubber

Outhouse brush! I looked in the Kitchen Tool area and had no luck. Sad, this seems like a brush that is miles ahead of the Meg's brushes cost & performance wise.
