Review: SONAX: Gloss Shampoo

sent an email to Terry & Jan at CMA asking them about Sonax ... for what it's worth here's their reply:

"We haven't heard that we will be the new distributor for Sonax."

I'm down to my last 1.5 bottles ... don't want to go through withdrawl ... :scared

OTOH, there are some excellent alternatives:

.......like 1Z Glanz Shampoo or Griot's Car wash !

I stocked up last year w/ the Autopia discount on Sonax. I believe the bottles were dented so they went for 30% off!!!! So I have 2 bottles left.

I LOVE using Meguiars #62 with one squirt of Sonax.

Bought the Sonax and liked it. Then bought the 1Z Perls. Now use only 1Z Perls. Less suds but better lubricity. No water spots on windows. Leaves a super shine!!

Unaccustomed as we are, we are now starting to get some good stuff in the UK. :D

When DavidB mentioned SONAX might be difficult to get I started searching and found that some Vauxhall (UK General Motors) Dealers sell it. I'd just about given up when I found a dealer only 2 miles from me.

Sonax Gloss Shampoo is definitely the cat's whiskers IMO. :xyxthumbs

(BTW, my review is in Reviews Home » Car Wash Shampoos » Gloss Shampoo.)

To all other UK Autopians - Sonax products should be available from about 90% of Vauxhall dealers and Euro Car Parts outlets. No excuses not to try the shampoo!

It is a very good product and easy to buy in the UK, I think I still prefer the Iauto (Wack) but only by a small amount. The Wack does seem to last longer ie I use less per wash

I have been trying both Sonax and P21S, and I like the P21S better so far.

I have been using it at full strength however. Maybe I should try a lower concentration as David suggests.

I like #62 as well. I have to try it with a squirt of Sonax. Cool idea.
