I want to add some items to my aresenal that I don't have and think would greatly help me with my vehicles as well as others.



Here's my shopping cart as it sits now.



1. Please make suggestions for products to add. (Missing?)

Of the above items some that I`m not sure are "great" are the Insane Tire Coating(does it attract a lot of dirt and or stay greesey and sling it on the car?)

And

The NXT metal polysh, I need something for chrome/polished rims with/without a clearcoat as I have a set on my truck right now that have TERRIBLE water staining that I couldn't get out with viniger.

I'll make some comments, just my opinion so take it for what its worth...



I'd either drop Klasse AIO or Poorboy's Pro Polish. They are very similiar, with the exception that AIO leaves behind a small amount of protection, unlike PP. I would go with one or the other. As for all the Meguiar's NXT products and Stoner products, I would try to find them locally (Wal Mart, AutoZone, Pep Boys, etc.). If you can find them locally, just get them there to save on shipping, unless your getting free shipping. Same thing with the Pinnacle foam applicators. Trying looking for them locally, I know Wal Mart usually has a 2 pack of Meguiar's foam applicator pads for like $1.99. Might be easier to get them locally. I also didn't see any LSPs (wax/sealant). Not sure if you already have them or not, but for sealants i'd recommend 4* UPP or for a wax maybe something like Poorboy's Natty's.



I usually try to only order polishes, waxes and MFs. The rest of my supplies can usually be found locally.



I'm also curious where your ordering from Autogeek or Premium Auto Care?
 
I ended up stopping by wal-mart to pick up some cat litter and found a bunch of these items!

(The wal-mart in my town recently stopped selling 75% of their car detail products, so I was lucky to find all of these at a nearby location.)



I forgot 2 of the Stoner products at wal-mart when I went to get my cart however :LOLOL



I was able to get applicators, all of the NXT products, and ScratchX, I also picked up a bunch of other misc. cleaning supplies not mentioned that I was running low on.

Where can I find the 4* UPP online?



As far as the stie it was neither and I lost it because my power went out while I was away :( I`ll have to find it again! I just compared my memory to prices on Premium Auto Care and PAC was more on some items.

That's the site I found the above products listed at, and some are cheaper than PAC I haven't checked the other you mentioend yet.

Glad to hear you found most of the products you we're looking for. I'm not sure which site you originally found, but most of my experiences with all the vendors have been great. PAC isn't any different.

btw make sure to use coupon code "Autopia" (without quotes) for 10% off, and I believe they also have a free MF offer with any other purchase, so you can take advantage of that too.

The Insane shine doesn't sling and doesn't attract dirt, it is a very good tire shine.

I would also recomend getting NXT paste wax, if you dont already have it.

And as Jimmy Buffit said get some Klasse SG, I originally didn't get this and ended up wanting it later and had to spend more on shipping.

I would also add a clay bar, if you dont already have one.

Oh, ya and some QD if you dont already have some, and if you already have a bottle, then get another while your at it, you wont regret it.

Get as much as you can at once to save on shipping, I know I hate paying for shipping on something I forgot or end up needing in a couple of weeks.
 
i would suggest looking into detailers pride Premium Surface shield. Its a breeze to apply and also a breeze to remove. I also think it has better durability than klasse SG. using klasse SG is also a pain in the butt at times

Sorry, I never really understood the point of the QD?

Do you simply hit your car with QD after washing it ?

I wax my car once a month or once every two months....



What brand/type of QD do you guys suggest?

Make shure you get a lot, because you'll use it a lot.

Eventually you'll know most of them, but its hard to remember all, although a lot of people do. (I dont remember all so I use the link) Some of the acronyms aren't on the list though because they are too new, somebody should refresh that.

If you're going to get the Pinnacle Bug Sponge, there is really no need for the Bug Squash. Just use a concentrated car wash solution. I'd stray from the Klasse products unless you can be SURE that they are the old versions. There are some unknowns about the "new" stuff. While I like QD+(Im in minority here) you should know that it is a spray wax and not just spray on and wipe off. It hazes and needs to be wiped off just like a wax. You could replace the lack of Klasse SG with Menzerna FMJ. I have had a half dozen Duo-Fiber towels and NONE of them have stayed together. I'd wait until whatever problem with them is ironed out. The rest of the list looks good. Get a gallon of some kind of QD and a spray bottle for it. You will go through lots of QD and vinyl/rubber dressing.
