"Ration" by definition means (among other things) "an alloted amount of anything".



And you call me dense.



When I ask about rationing of ingredients in a product, it is to ask to how close a tolerance the car care companies can accomodate when mixing these ingredients to make a given product.



In other words, if a product is designed to use 5% of a ingredient, can they achieve exactly 5% or is 3% to 6% acceptable?
