Review Meguiars Mirror Bright Detailing Spray

The Guz

Mike
Had a chance to use this newest detail spray today. I used this after a wash and only on the exterior paint.

The bottles are plastic and they have a real nice look to them.

Here's the front of the bottle

Here's the rear label which dictates how to use it in the interior and exterior. Pretty self explanatory on how to use it.

Thoughts:

It has a nice fruit/berry scent to it. Nothing overpowering but pleasant. Meguiar's knows how to get the scent just right.

It has a nice spray nozzle that mists the product onto the paint fairly well.

Spreads out nice and is easy to buff off.

Leaves a slick and glossy finish behind.

Really nice product. Will make a nice addition to one's arsenal of detail sprays.

To me seems like a new line of products further confusing the consumer about which to use and why. Like they are me myself and irene over there....

thanks for the review

on a side note- have you tried to remove the sprayer? I was not able to take it off when I went to give some of this out to a friend to try.

I almost broke the entire bottle trying to get it open

I felt like an idiot to say the least, hahaha

Great review Mike!!!

How would you compare this to UQD/M135?

Thanks. It's not as slick as M135. I would say it fits more in line with M34 or D155.

Meguiar's used the same type of locking sprayer like they have on their OTC wheel cleaners. The only way I have been able to get them off is by using some channel locks.

Cool

Does it add anything? Protection> Slickness?

Here's a little update as I was trying this product against some others on the original hood that is off my grand prix. The hood was prepped with Ameridepth polish, IPA wipedown and finally the quick detailer. I had left the hood sit out overnight and this is what I saw on the surface the next morning as it was raining. So it appears it does leave something on the surface. I don't think it would be that durable as the surface was not as slick as it was 1 week ago.

Wonder how it would fair as a drying aid?

Tried this today and it seemed to work well. I had no issues.
