Review: Meguiars D114 Rinse Free Express

Before I use my BF combo on the car it needed a good washing, since it was mostly light dirt and dust from two rain storms and sitting in the parking garage for a week, rinseless wash is the way to go. I usually go to BF rinseless wash, but wanted to try D114 for the first time on my black car. Megs claims it will not add any shine boosters or alter the look of your LSP.
Time to whip out the 2 buckets and a grit guard

Like other rinseless megs says use 1 oz per gallon if it’s really dirty or 1 oz for 2 gallons for normal wash. I used about 2 oz with 2.5 gallons of water.

It has a really pleasant smell, but hard to describe. Also this was the first time I saw foaming from a rinseless wash.

I dipped about 8 rolled edge microfibers to get the job done, along with couple of guzzlers to dry the car.

First these are the before shots of the car.

This poor guy has to find a new spot to chill now

AND Afters
I was really impressed; my car was clean and shiny. I almost didn’t want to do use my BF combo. I used BFCS on this paint about 3 weeks ago.

Nice review, I can't decide if I want to pick some up, or just stick with ONR. I think after this review I'll throw some in on the next order. Good work!

Nice review!!
thank you sir

ONR is great, but I feel Meguiars has taken rinseless to another level;the formula it self is a lot slicker than ONR and love the fact that it leaves nothing behind on the paint beside a squeaky clean finish.
I bought a sample of it from a online store but will be picking up a gallon soon.

Very nice review. It is nice to see Meguiar's on the bandwagon ;)
Thanks

A nice review that mirrors my findings as well.

I am just at the end of my ONR v2 and have now begun debating on what Rinse-less wash to get. I do like Meg's D114 but the 1oz per Gallon has me leaning towards ONR or even BFRW as the cost per gallon on all of them are the same.

I would love to see a Rinse-less wash comparison thread...

Thanks Troy, I was reading up on megsonline and a post my M Stoops confirmed that the dilution ratio is 1: 1 gallon for a dirty car and 1oz : 2 gallon for routine. I have tried that ratio on my white car and my wife SUV and the results were also great :bigups

Thanks for the review.

I also use the dilution of 1oz. Megs. Express NR to 2 gals. water for routine washing. I like it. Sometimes I don't want to add any protection via the NR and Megs. NR doesn't....

I have ONR V3, and BFNR when I want to add alittle protection.....Megs. is just as good IMO.

if i ever have doubts about a product, megs is always a safe bet for me. looks like it did a great job on your ride. :bigups

I really was impressed with D114 as well. I think it cleans better than any Rinse-less I've tried and it doesn't put down any stuff...just cleans like crazy.

On the flip side, the new generation of rinse-less washes with carnuba could have a great following because they DO put down a nice protective coat in one step...which if its cold outside...is something I will definitely want. If I can remove a step when my skin is turning blue....I will put my D114 aside.

It looks like the rinseless race now is almost clean and wax at the same time rather than just clean. I prefer the just clean type.

I have just gotten in the newest version of ONR (v3?) as well as the new ONR+C. I was able to try the ONR+C on my OG'd truck this weekend. I was very impressed to say the least. Cleaned well and the gloss and slickness was impressive. I plan on a full review in the future.

anybody try Duragloss rinseless? thoughts? comparisons to those listed in this thread?

I have a gallon of it if anyone wants to try it. I also have used BF and liked it. I have Pinnacle but have yet to use it.
