Review Gary Deans Infinite Use Detail Juice & My Take on the GDWM

Re: Review Gary Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice & My Take on the GDWM

Air injection is to replace pressure washing or pre-rinsing. I was skeptical of it at first but there are some great videos of it working in Garry's FB group.

Re: Review Gary Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice & My Take on the GDWM

I have a siphon-fee sprayer that connects to my compressor, used it with regular shampoo mix before I got the pressure washer. Eh, I'm not gonna spray my IUDJ mix, seems wasteful compared to just using the pw with plain/DI water. OK, OK...yeah, I *am* stuck in my ways with regard to washing, but at least I was open-minded enough to start incorporating the IUDJ.

Re: Review Gary Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice & My Take on the GDWM

Believe it or not that method actually uses LESS IUDJ solution. Garry states he can do 2 cars easy with the 32oz canister on the paint spray gun. Remember, it's combining the pressurized air with the solution, so in theory less product is being used. Tried it several times already in experimentation and works effectively and much safer than the "traditional" Rinseless method.

52split- Huh, thanks for explaining, I learn something new every day! Makes me wish I still had my old paint guns! My siphon-feed sprayer goes through a lot more a lot faster.

I purchased one for $16 from Harbor Freight. The "Garry Dean" approved gun.

Re: Review Gary Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice & My Take on the GDWM

Basically he fills a paint spray gun with IUDJ and sprays the panel down with the gun at its highest pressure (50-70psi), then wipes the panel down with a microfiber. He believes combining IUDJ with some air pressure will help with minimizing possible marring associated with Rinseless style washing.

Um....Gary has lost me on this one. He is spraying a car w/ IUDJ & a paint sprayer????

Just get out a pressure washer or go to a Pay N Spray.

Re: Review Gary Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice & My Take on the GDWM

The point is not to have the traditional water runoff that a traditional wash entails. Using a pressure washer would require more water to be used, which contradicts the reason to do a Rinseless to start with. Using the diluted IUDJ in the paint sprayer provides "some" air pressure to break up the dirt and minimize the possibility of marring.

Re: Review Gary Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice & My Take on the GDWM

I guess if you live with water restrictions - that's one thing. But my whole point of doing any wash is to wash the car the best way that's the easiest way for the situation.

It's my opinion only (worthless), that using air hoses, a compressor, and paint guns to wash a car MAY be a bit of a gimmick - considering you could just use a pump sprayer???

I'm not sure now, but I saw a bunch of videos a while ago where GD was shooting snow foam soap all over cars and pressure washing.

Swanicyouth- Isn't it great to *not* have to worry about water consumption/runof/etc.?!? I simply couldn't deal ...

Re: Review Gary Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice & My Take on the GDWM

Yeah, that was his method for "traditional washes" for those who won't do Rinseless washes. Water restrictions do suck, but living in the great state of Texas more than makes up for it to me. -_-

Yeah. When I wash a car I prolly use like 300 gallons.

Don't worry - everything is rinsed well.
