Adjusting my thoughts...
Sound like it does everything. Think I`ll try it in my chocolate milk
I like the idea that "swirls are gone", it is hydrophobic, it has a durable filler, it is non-abrasive, it is glossy, and it is a LSP all in one product.
Think about the concept here for a minute...
Everything we have ever "learned" is compound (level) the paint, then polish the paint (to obtain clarity, sharpness and gloss), then apply LSP.
In truth, this can only be done so many times. Each time the paint gets thinner. I`ve seen brand new $$$ vehicles w/95 microns of OEM paint.
Using aggressive methods you can remove lots of CC with the very first correction on a new vehicle. "Always use the Least Aggressive Method".
I had a client that complained to me that a "detailer" corrected his paint and a few months later (where it was corrected) the clear coat failed.
Am I saying do not correct paint?..No, there are many, many vehicles that a full paint correction is needed. I am saying OEM paint is very thin.
I know a few folks that have corrected their vehicle too many times. They know that another correction can and will cause a clear coat failure.
There has been (and still are) many old skool products that "fill" swirls. They`re called a "Glaze". Some with a mild abrasive and some without.
Even a wax will "fill" swirls. You have all heard this..."I had my car detailed and the swirls were gone...after a few washes they all came back."
Glazes have been around for a long time. Outside of one product (I will not mention the name) they contain non durable fillers that`ll wash off.
(No, it is not Voldemort`s Elixir)
Short Version: "There are many vehicles where a full paint correction is not in the cards."
Times change and technology changes...
The concept is not new.
Old skool was product ABC...it "filled". It lasted a few washes.
New skool and new technology. Essence Plus with durable filler.
Essence PLUS is a unique SiO2 nano coating made from a distinct blend of ceramic coat repair agents, high gloss quartz resins, and hydrophobic nanoparticles!
The concept behind Essence PLUS was an extremely glossy, semi-permanent nano-agent for repairing durable ceramic coatings, which may have been abused or mistreated over the course of time!
My Thoughts...
I can use Essence PLUS on a non-coated vehicle. I can use Essence PLUS on a coated vehicle.
Essence Plus is hydrophobic, it has durable fillers, it`s non-abrasive, it`s glossy, & it is a LSP.
It is a complete reverse on what I`ve been taught is the "proper" way to abrade/correct paint.
At first I hated it. Why? I wash, I decon, then I go around the vehicle
one time and I am done.
I use a Rupes 21 with a 5" BP and a Carpro gloss pad (IMHO a RUPES White 5 7/8" will work).
How can I justify the cost of a full paint correction when it feels like I only did a wash & wax?
Now I love it. Why? I have a "swirl free", high gloss finish without sacrificing paint thickness.
Modern vehicles are painted by robots. They do not use one extra drop of paint in the process.
Did I mention it`s faster? I go around the vehicle
one time and I am done. Glossy & swirl free.
It it everything to everyone? Will the vehicle be 100% perfect when I`m done?
Will it remove swirls that look like the vehicle was washed with a Brillo pad?
Nothing is 100% folks...but IMHO this is a great tool to have in your arsenal.
End of Soliloquy...

The "Chocolate Milk" things is at you own risk (BIG GRIN) - You have been warned! :lmfao
BTW - It is sad, but they actually put "Do Not Ingest" on the marketing and instructions.
