Restoration for 1996 Porsche C4S

Great job on the wheel wells and good save on the rubber widow trim. What products did you use on those? As a 993 owner I appreciate the effort you put forth.

I'm speechless....I'm pretty sure the owner was too when he laid his eyes on his "new Porsche"! Those wells looked to be an absolute nightmare...awesome job bringing her back!

That was unbelievable! As soon as i read "un-tightness" I smiled and it lasted throughout the thread. Your attention to detail leads me to think you may have been a marine, it is just incredible.

What!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, Navy.................just kidding, they are the "Tip of the spear" for America and a "High n tight" haircut is not a good look for me. :tongue2:

Awesome detail. Man I love 993s.

Question - what did you use to restore the faded trim/weatherstripping? Looks factory fresh!

Todd pretty much said how I felt about this one too. And I would have never guessed that those wheel wells would turn out that good!

Bob-

As I sit here looking over the write-up, it draws much appreciation from me.

You are a craftsman, no doubt. This is how every car should be done.

It's not reasonable to expect a typical customer to pay for this sort of job, nor is it reasonable to expect you to accomplish it without getting paid for the incredibly time-consuming work. The thing is.... you know how to do it. That, in itself, puts you in the big leagues.

Bravo, excellent work. :cheer2:

p.s.- The nice thing about finishing a job like this is... it makes the everyday detail seemingly easy to complete!
