residue on paint

I am new to machine polishing and recently got a PC.



I used Meguiars m205 and a LC white to polish one of my cars. I noticed dried residue on several areas. At first I thought I had damaged the paint!, but a wet MF towel easily removed it.



AM I doing something wrong to cause this? Like too much product, or too little?

Clean your pads frequently as those products tend to gunk up fairly quick.



Another thing could be over working the product. Once the product turns turns from a cloudy color to a little more transparent that means the polish has broken down and is ready for removal. If you over work it sometimes it cakes up.



Lastly M105 & M205 can sometimes act weird in very humid conditions making it hard to work with.



Just some things to think about. I hope that helps you out a little bit.
