Replacement for old 'yellow' pad

I have a PC 7424 with a 5.75" hook-n-loop backing plate and have been using a 6" yellow Lake Country MFG pad for a dozen or so times on some older finishes. The last time I pulled the pad off, the white fastener cloth seperated from the yellow pad and now I can't use it. I went to ProperAutoCare and that design is no longer available.



Now I need to decide which new style 'yellow' cutter to purchase. I see the new flat style pads in 6.5" with the reservoir pits and some older 7.5" pads with the center indentation the way my older pad was designed.



Which is the better choice for me?

I don't know the answer to your question, but, can't the pad be glued to the fastener cloth?

You should be able to find another yellow pad close to what you have now. Just look around at the different on-line vendors until you find one like you're looking for.
