Bought some 18" Muranos but the owner didnt "know" 2 of the wheels had clear coat failure...Whats the best way to tackle this? The paint is still good, its just the clear coat thats flaking off and giving it a 2-tone shade.

The only way to fix clear coat failure is to have them re cleared. Which in this case I'd take them to a pro and have them refinished (get all the nasty caked, embedded brake dust removed too)

There are several ways of accomplishing this. Most will bead blast the wheels to remove all the coating/pitting/etc. They are then resprayed with the base coat and clear.
