Removing paint drips from wheels

Hello everyone. I have a 2011 Kia Sportage and the 3rd day I had it, I was rear ended. After getting it back from the shop, I noticed that it looks like paint was dripped onto one of the rear wheels. The wheels are typical clear coat painted alloy. Does anyone know of a safe way to remove these dried paint drips from the wheel.

That's what I should've done but I didn't notice it until a couple of days after I had brought it home and honestly, I didn't want these guys touching my vehicle anymore. That had it for three days and it looked worse than when I took it in, claiming they were waiting for a part to be released. I made a checklist the second time I went in of all the things I wanted done and in the end, it turned out looking good. At this point, I really don't think taking it back in is an option. I'd rather try and fix it myself if possible.

In that case, you should post pictures of the damage. I'd try a wheel cleaner, then plastic razor blade, then try polishing them (depending on what kind of wheels you have... chrome, painted, etc.), then some paint stripper on a cotton swab. Start with least aggressive and work your way up :)

Try any of the following:

1. Claying

2. A solvent on a q-tip such as Acrysol, 3M Paint remover, Isopropol Alcohol

3. A polish/abrasive

4. A cleaner wax
