I am planning to re-detail my car and I was wondering if I need to remove the layers of carnuba and Klasse twins before I begin to clay and re-polish? If so should i use a polishing MF or just any one would do?

Will it gunk up your pads? No. You have to realize how extremely thin those layers are. I highly doubt there could be enough accumulated LSP to actually be noticeable on your pad. If anything, your pad may get gunked up from the polish or cleaner you apply. If that's the case, then just take an old toothbrush and clean the pad if it gets gunked up. Let the machine spin on speed 3 or so, and hold the toothbrush against the pad. Any dried product should come right off.
