Removing Back Plate

Does anyone know how to remove the 5 inch back plate from a PC buffer?



Please be specific in your descriptions.

You need the wrench that came with the PC to remove it. Slip it under the plate and the plate will screw right off.

Any way to get past that if I lost the wrench?

Try to find a set of pliers that will sneak in there...maybe some needle-nose. But they'll have to be pretty small to fit. :nixweiss

It's only $1.90 from PC, and it's part # 692900, but it doesn't appear that you can order it from their website. You might be able to get it locally though, from a PC Service Center.
