Removing automotive paint from leather seats

Yep, pull the seat and clean it with alcohol. Find a automotive paint suppy house in your area that can match the color then have fun. Is the seat all one color :!!

That inside part is gray and the area around it is black. Thanks everyone for the help by the way.

Does anyone know of a good quality leather dye/paint to help urweak out?

Ive had the unfortunate experience( a couple of times) of detailing a car where the leather was apparently sprayed by a bad quality product (or maybe not prepped properly) and when you try to clean it even with a good quality safe product like lexol the color comes right off . And then your left with the underlying problem that someone didnt fix properly.

personally if you have the money I would go to proffessional shop and get it done right.

SEM avalible @ Sherwin Williams :-B

Theres always a possibility it could chip/crack. Its really mostly in the prep. Sherwin Williams also sells SEM leather prep. Might as well pick that up also I suppose :-?

Going the profesional route sounds to safe. And no fun <:-P

You will need to tape off the section that is a different color. Of course, if you didn't already know this, then maybe going the profesional route is in order :o

Thanks Flash ,Ive seen the SEM .

Have you ever cleaned the leather that you have sprayed with the SEM down the road ?

I guess you and I have a different idea of what fun is LOL:tongue:<:-P
