Rejex

Hello -

New to this website, but have been detailing cars for a while. I mainly use Lusso Oro wax and auto bathe. I really like the product and the shine.

One of my friends uses Rejex on his car and was telling me that this is a very good polish. Has anyone used this and are there any adverse effects to putting it on clear coat paint (Car is fiberglass). Is this product good or not?

Last year I put Z2Pro/ZFX on one side of my hood and Rejex on the other side purposely to check the durability of the two. On silver the Z2Pro looked better on initial applications but after the first 24 hours they looked identical. I couldn’t feel any difference in slickness but did notice on the way to work that water drops on the Rejex side would clear faster than the Z2Pro side. After testing them twice I think the durability between the two is to close to call. Both I felt need additional coats after about 3 ½ months with just weekly washes with NXT soap and NO QD. On really dark cars Z2Pro may have just a slight appearance edge over Rejex. I have been using Z2Pro on my Mini Cooper but recently have put Rejex on the rims and the brake dust seems to be easier to wash off with Rejex, the only bad part is you have to reapply monthly to maintain the edge. The negative to Rejex is you have to keep it out the weather for the first 12 hours after applying the initial coat but the plus is you can purchase it as True Value. The negative to Z2Pro is you have to mix ZFX and the shelf life is 18 months, I’m on my second 19.99 plus 8.95 shipping bottle of ZFX and my first bottle of Z2Pro. Rejex is a nice product and among the top sealants that I have used.

rejex is similar to wg and upp slickness and look but the effects of slickness are short term.

its easy to use and remove. I'm kinda surprised myself why it never took off like wildfire as did Wolfgang did.

I have used rejex and it is the only sealant that lasted the whole summer on my jet ski. I always liked the look and slickness.

Thank you for all of the repsonses. I think I am going to purchase a bottle of Rejex and try this out.

One more quick question on Rejex -

Can I put this over my Lusso Wax? Or how is it best applied?

Never heard of Lusso, but if it is a carnauba wax the Rejex polymer may not bond sufficiently. As with all things YMMV, but the general consensus is to only put pure carnauba waxes over sealants/polymers and not vice versa.

Im have some and it's not a bad product at all. It did seem to protect well but seemed to loose it's slickness.

I used it before I got more in detailing... mostly for wheels to keep brake dust off. I found its looks diminished quickly on body panels. I now find the klasse twins to be a better alt

For wheels Rejex rules

For paint, the Klasse twins are better IMHO

Follow up with your favorite carnuaba on the Klasse, but you shouldn't bother using a wax on top of Rejex because you lose its major benefit - the slickness

Thanks everyone for the responses and expertise.

Where can I purchase Klasse?

I should have asked what products are you referring to for Klasse?

Please let me know.

Klasse All in One (AIO) and Klasse Sealant Glaze (SG) are the original products and can be purchased online at many locations. Just do a Google search.

But, you might want to consider the Jeff's Werkstatt products instead. Carlack of Germany is supplying the improved versions of their line thru Jeff.

His line's counter parts are Prime and Acrylic Jett. Most feel this updated line performs better than the post-VOC Klasse products.

Thank you
