All About The Bling Bling
So i'm sitting here looking thru the site and forums, and noticed i got a referral. :bump Probably someone from a custom truck site, i been trying to promote the site when someone needs help with a scratch or something. Thought i would ask everyone how many they have got?
 
I have a big fat zero.

The other forum I am on, is doing a raffleof some sort...the person with the most referals, at the end of a certain date, they win a prize.......some pretty good and expensive stuff too....... :yes:

I don't really understand the referral thing, but I think it means someone you referred to DC, not a sponsor.

I searched referrals under the FAQ tab and this is what i got.



The administrator may have enabled referrals, which allows you to be credited for any new users you invite to the forum.

You gain referrals by promoting Detail City Auto Detailing & Car Care Forums using your unique referral link. The link you should use as your referral link is this:

http://www.detailcity.com/forums/index.php?referrerid=4338

Each time someone follows this link to Detail City Auto Detailing & Car Care Forums and registers as a new member, your referral count will be incremented by one. The number of referrals you have can be viewed in your profile.

Your administrator will have more information on any prizes or rewards that may be given out for referrals. Please be courteous when promoting Detail City Auto Detailing & Car Care Forums by not spamming other web sites with your referral link just to gain referrals.

Now that might add some excitement around here. I'm sure DC gets enough traffic already but still some kind of raffleoff might be fun.
