Red Z06 Pics - DUW

I had some really bad swirl marks that were driving me nuts! I clayed the car, used Finess-IT III with a PC, then 3M swirl remover for dark cars, Mag #3 glaze, followed by Mag #26. I can't belive how clear the paint looks! :bounce

Next up is my black Mustang...

not to get off-topic but is that a pitbull or a boxer? I have a red nosed pit that just turned two a few weeks ago. They are angels! That ride is flawless! Keep up the good work!!!

Thanks guys, that was my first attempt at really detailing the paint. I'm still floored by how well it turned out.

DCopp, he's a boxer, the best dog I have ever had. I used to have a red nose pitbull as well, she was a sweetheart. Here is a shot of Windsor, my Boxer, checking my work... ;)

wow, i really love those cars. the only thing i would suggest is using maybe some Poorboy's SSR1 instead of 3m smr because the 3m has some fillers in it, but oh well, it gets the job done and it looks amazing. keep up the good work!

Looks outstanding!

Since this is your first time and you had great results, I believe it will keep your spirits up for details to come. Good Luck in the future :)

I just saw a new Vette for 2005/06 and the paint was terrific - no orange peel. I think they are some of the few GMs with top quality paint cept maybe Cadillac.

Thanks :D I have had the PC for 2 years, I used it when I first got it, but I didn't really do my homework. The results were not too spectacular.

A couple weeks ago I came back here and read up and made some notes. That's why I say it was my first "real" effort. I still can't believe it made that much of a difference. I wish I had a good before shot...

Needless to say, I'm planning on detailing everything I can get my hands on now... :lol

wow man, where do you have to park your cars?? i know they can't sit by each other without fighting and revving on each other:). whats all done to the stang? it looks NICE!!

It's funny you say that. I have had the Stang since new, well before I bought the Z06. The licence plate on the mustang reads I8AZ06. Who would have thought I'd end up owning one...

The Stang has a 351, bored and stroked to 383ci. Vic. Jr. heads CNCed by TEA and hand finished, Vortech S-Trim, Tremec 3550, Baer brakes, Grigg's K-member, A-arms, Coil overs. And everything else you could think of.

ExplorerXLT95 - I used to post on the Corral, now I post on corner-carvers, and my own site www.streetknights.com

What a beautiful car. I just realized that I have both #3 and #26. I need to use this combination on one of my vehicles. I really haven't used #26 much since I acquired P21S and Pinnacle Souveran.

Very nice:up love the Z06 shots, but your stang, it had to be a 92LX sedan 5.0, my first car, god how i still miss her:( lol bought new in 92, sold in 97, and 580rwhp:bow :bow :D
