Red C6 Corvette

Well my detail descriptions are now, I am pretty sure, getting rather boring.

For example, I detailed this red C5 two days ago and used the new Optimum compound with an orange pad to level out the rather heavy halo scratches and after that I used Optimum Polish and two different grades of foam finishing pads to first, remove swirls from the compound and orange pad and to then finish out the paint and get it ready to be sealed with Opt spray wax.

I did not take these photos but the owner of the car did. He sent them to me yesterday. I only detailed the exterior paint, wiped out the wheels and cleaned up the tail pipes.

Here are the pics

Well there ya have them, like I said kinda boring.....BUT I really like the glossy wet look that OCW gives you 24 hours after its application :bigups

Thanks,

Anthony

Car looks great. I'd say you are probably considered as the god of all things car care. I know you're not a vette fan, but that's a C5. :D

Figured I would post this pic up and only crop out the surrounding areas. This will give you all a better look at the paint.

Nice work, Anthony, the paint looks like it was just sprayed on the car!

I just got a sample of Optimum Compound and have already tested it out. Worked very well with a burgandy Meguiars cutting pad on an F-250, no visible marring, pretty good correction and nearly as glossy as the polish. Extremely low dusting too.
