Red; almost as cool as black, my red VW

Well since it's snowing outside as I type this, figured I would post some pictures of my GLI that I detailed last weekend. Any comments are welcome.



Process:

wash- Gold Class, with a lamb's wool mit, dried with a microfiber.

Clay- (mothers)

removed swirls where needed- (Dacp) with a white pad on the PC, followed by a swirl remover (sorry frogot the #)

AIO- with a polishing pad on the whole car

SG- applied by hand twice (24 hours apart)

awaiting a thrid coat after the snow stops.

Yes I know my paint is still a bit cloudy, I am working on that :lol

Mk4GLI That looks Great. Aio/SG is my favorite combo on red. After your 3 layer of SG top off with Souveran/S100/Nattys then ste-p back and drool... :drool: I love red cars and motorcycles (my Ducati 996 is red).

My cars will always be Red or Black!



My friend just bought a grey GLI what a great car. I love the BBS wheels and the Recaro seats.



VW makes some great cars. I have a Touareg V8 in Colorado Red and love it

Thanks for all the comments guys. I wanted to still try natty's blue but for winter i thought that the twins would be a better combo, after one or two more layers I will probably top it and take some more pics.
