record setting gt500 detailed at EVOLUTION

Total time [ 5 1/2 - 6 hours ]washed [poorboys ss and s], rubber scraped of rear quarter panel[megs bug and tar], polished via PC with orange pad and menzerna 106 ff [3 1/2 hrs],paint cleaned with K AIO [white pad],two coats of optimum spray wax,surf city on tires and rims,303 interior,K AIO on glass outside, surfcity inside glass.The swirls were the worst ive ever worked on,its a race car always getting worked on people leaning on it and pushing it and touching while its dirty.It came out good ,there were some deep marks that didnt come out [would need to be wet sanded] but once again the 106 passes with flying colors with no pad step down!

Sweet, looks good. I have to get some 106ff..

I've seen video of evoperformance stang's and they are sweet..:drool:
 
You need to tell those guys to stop wiping that thing down in between passes in the pits! It would be an honor to detail any GT500, let alone Evolution's. Good job.

I don't know if you read what was done to the car, but that is FAR from little effort. The KB S/C alone is 6k, and that's not half of what the car had done.

Just out of curiosity, stock Eaton, (stock pulley?) and 75 shot...What else? That is hella fast.

Was it the stock tranny? That is going to be an 8 sec car no doubt. I am surprised they didn't require you to have a chute.
 
ran 9's with stock eaton w/pulley,75 shot,weight reduction, boltons. It still has full interior except passsenger seat.
 
Incredible! Mustangs still true to their form. Minimal work and they are running like Pro-Stockers down the quarter. It feels like 1991 again in the Fox body craze!
 
It's impressive with those minor mods because to get my car (06 GTO) into the 9s it takes a lot more. Only one person has done it with a forged 364 with a big turbo, TH400, stripped and a ton of suspension work.
