Recommendation on drying towel?

My friend recommended CMA's Big Blue Towel but it looks like it's discontinued? Any recommendations on an equivalent?

I've been using Duragloss's Plush Microfiber Drying Towel lately and really like it how super absorbent it is while being the THICKEST towel I've ever seen. Super soft too. Autopia used to but doesn't carry it anymore, Autogeek however still does:

I was quickly won over by the CarPro Dry Me Crazy Jr. Plush MF Drying towels, simply love 'em after years of using WWMFs to dry. But yeah, the newer-tech WWMFs do work well too, I just wonder "for how long?" as my WWMFs always quit soaking up water after a while.

I recommend buying a few small ones instead of something really big, I find (sorta to my surprise) that I never seem to reach for the big ones.

Exactly!

Been using the Edgeless Avalanche Super Plush Drying Towel from the rag company. I find it to work better than a waffle weave.

I have quite a few of those also and mainly use them when doing rinseless washes. My mundane theory is just in case I missed a section the dirt will bury itself in the longer fibers instead of scratching with a waffle weave. All of that said it is also a great towel for conventional or rinseless.

The Dry Me Crazy is ok, but I much prefer the Rag Co's "Dry Me A River Jr's." Smaller and not being as thick makes use much easier for me. I find my Dry Me Crazy to be too large and "grabby" for me. Just my $.02

52split- I *can* imagine what you're saying about some MF Drying Towels being "too grabby" if not using some kind of drying aid. And for the umpteenth time- yes *yes* *YES* regarding not wanting them too big and/or too thick.

Heh heh, and then of course I see plenty of people *do* prefer the huge ones!

The whole thick/weighty issue reminds me of how, IME, people who want 900gsm bath towels/washcloths usually haven't actually lived with them for long, though it might not really apply here...

I have been using the Korean made microfiber items from the rag company. The edgeless plush 16x16 is $4.40 when you order 11. They sell Chinese edgeless plush for $1.55 ea, but I cannot vouch for them.

I have some from China, they aren't bad. Great for a budget but the German Mm are the best imo. I have almost half a grand in towels lol, they are all awesome.

nardin- Welcome to Autopia!

Everybody seems happy with those edgeless Eagle ones from The Rag Company, does it work OK for you as a Drying Towel?

I haven't used the Eagles for drying but the Avalanche works great with those long fibers, they get into places the Dry me a River waffle weave does not.
