I miss my 03 Cobra......
Well I have been wanting to try a few new products lately and I finally broke down and bought them. I had been wanting to try the optimum polish for awhile now after seeing and hearing about some good results and the versatility of their polish and OCW. when I purchased the polish they sent me a sample of the OCW!:D



Also gave the ClearKote RMG a try with great results. I am very impressed with this product as are some you folks I hear!



Anyways, onto the good stuff!



First up, Girlfriends truck again. I got the wheels put back on with nice weather coming and all. Just got tired of the old stock wheels on there! 20x8.5, 19x8, Boyd Coddington Rallye's for those that will ask about them!







My Process:

--Wash w/Poorboy's SS&S-Adam's mix

--Clayed with Adam's clay

--ClearKote RMG via Cyclo w/green light polishing pads

--Poorboy's EX-P+ (x2) by hand w/Pakshak yellow foam applicator

--S100 by hand w/Pakshak yellow foam applicator



--Poorboy's Bug Squash on lower panels and pre-wash

--Poorboy's APC on wells and wheels



--Adam's V.R.T. on trim, wells, and front bumper

--Adam's Brilliant Spray Glaze on chrome, and windows

--Poorboy's BnB on tires

--Poorboy's Wheel Sealant on wheels

Next up, my Uncles Sebring. The last time I did this car I used AIO, Souveran, and topped with Natty's. To my surprise the the car is still beading great. So what you say, that was 4 months ago.! :eek: I asked him if he has washed or had the car washed since the last time I worked on it, he said no!:shocked I was very pleased to see that, but what's still beading you think, the Natty's, Souveran, or AIO!:nixweiss

--Poorboy's Spray and Rinse on wheels

--Adam's Brilliant Spray Glaze on windows



--Poorboy's BnB on tires and wells

--Poorboy's wheels sealant on wheels

Now this is my Uncle's neighbors car. The last time I did his car she came out and asked if I was the guy droppoing off the flyers in the neighborhood, I said no. But she still wanted me to do her car anyways. It's a faded 1985 Corwn Vic, with SS paint!:rolleyes: I did a panel for her that day and it came out good, so today was the day to finish it off!:D She only wanted the paint done, nothing else. ;)

Wow, that truck is insane. Great work on that paint too.



Edit: Just noticed the photoshop note on top, I was going to say they were tucked very nicely.

Awesome, you're quick. Great work on that Crown Vic too, I can't believe you were able to save that.

Overall very impressed with the Optimum polish. It worked very well on the SS paint and left a nice finish. I can't wait to try it on some CC paint to see how it really works. I have heard that it is a little difficult to remove, but I have had no such experience. It's a fairly thick polish like FP II, and spreads very well. I did a fender on my Father's taurus with Optimum polish and OCW and was amazed. I am going to do his entire car next weekend using Optimum polish and OCW. At this point, for the price I don't know of a product that can beat it! The OCW is impressive as well, I was skeptical of it, but very okeased with the results. Now if it lasts as long as they say it does, I will use it very often!



The CK RMG is incredible. I love the fact that it has no oils so bonding is no issue. It does leave a touch better finish than VM and I still am able to remove some minor, minor swirls with a polishing pad and Cyclo. I used it like I heard that some people use VM, where they let it sit on the paint, do a couple of panels, then remove it! This is a must for my arsenal now.



And Silva, I may have the products you want, but it sounds like you may have a Bimma!:woot2:



travisdecpn: There were some spots that there was nothing I could do, but for the most part it was a success. But the main part, the customer was happy!;)
 
:D I take care of a SilvaBimma :lol Cool. Definitely need to see pictures of your collection! Nice to hear the results. Just a few more detail :D

looks like melting ice in the sun its so wet looking, I think ive got a chub. Id prolly drool to death, or crash if I saw a chick drivin that too. Especially if it is a stick, and I know it is just by looking at that.

milky_08: The RMG is very nice. Like I said prior to gives a better look than VM and has no oils, so it is LSP friendly. The EX-P+ is a lot nicer than the old version. It is a little thinner and easier to spread, and is easier to remove. The + makes a much wetter finish than the old version. In my opinion it's a very impressive improvement over the old version. Steve from Poorboy's says as the company grows they strive to use better chemicals in their products, I'd say business must be good because the products are getting better and better!:p
 
Yes, very nice indeed. Great work. I like the before and after look of the trunk of the Crown Vic.
