Recent Details v. I'm finally back

Well I've been gone for quite awhile now, had a lot of things going on in my life that just took a lot out of me. To the point of having no desire to detail anymore, but I'm better now and the things that were bothering me are getting better and I have the itch to detail again!!



First up, friend of a friend needed to have her BMW detailed. She washes it every couple of weeks going through a drive thru gas station wash, touchless atleast. Nothing real major, has not seen any wax in years according to her. Paint was fairly smooth but needed some good claying for sure.



Final Process:



-Wash w/NXT Wash

-Clay w/Adam's clay

-Optimum via PC and Lake Country 6.5" cutting pad on 6

-Optimum via PC and Meguiar's 6.5" polishing pad on 5

-Optimum Car Wax by hand w/Adam's MF towel



-Poorboy's Bug Squash for Pre-Wash and lower panels to remove tar and bugs

-Poorboy's Spray & Rinse on wheels

-Poorboy's APC on wells



-Poorboy's BnB in wells, tires, trim

Next up, I visited my friend Dan in Utah and to check out his Evo. Needless to say it needed some serious help. Sorry I don't have any finished pics, they came out very blurry for some reason! :wall



Final Process:



-Wash w/Werkstatt Autobody Wash

-Clay w/Adam's Clay

-Optimum via rotary and 7.5" LC polishing pad @ 1500RPM

-Menzerna PO85RD via PC and Meguiar's 6.5" polishing pad on 5

And the grande finale. My frined nick has a guy that does his usually, but he gave me a shot and now he is a full time customer. His car is in good shape, just basic spider swirls. Very nice car BTW. It's a 96 SS camaro with an LT4 Vette motor!
