2003 Lincoln Navigator. Some rotary swirls on the left front fender and hood, used #80 and a polishing pad. Went over the whole vehicle with Poorboy's Polish w/carnauba and topped with EX-P.

Same combo on a 2001 Mercedes C280 (except no swirls, so no #80)

And on a 2002 BMW 528

Good Gawd all-mighty that Navigator looks as black as my neighbor's neglected pool!! AWESOME!!

Scott how would you compare the Poorboy's ProPolish to their PwC?? I was curious as to whether I could top the PwC with a sealant...but I guess you can!!:xyxthumbs

2000 Acura TL. Not in very good shape. Rubbed out several paint transfers using Meguiars SratchX, then went over the car with Meguiars #9 with a polishing pad, then applied NXT with a polishing pad.

2004 Ford Excursion. No dealer prep so no swirls to remove ;)

Clearkote's Vanilla Moose with a polishing pad and Poorboy's EX with carnauba.

2003 Chevy Silverado. Poorboy's PwC with a polishing pad an EX w/carnauba.

I've never used the ProPolish, just PwC so I don't know how they compare.

i don't think you need a clever title. you could leave it blank and it'll get a lot of looks just because you do outstanding work! :)

i just love what you do with black! outstanding! they all look great! :bow

Scott,

I am considering ordering Souveran, but wonder if I will notice much improvement over Wolfgang on my Jet Black M3. Would it be a noticeable improvement to the P21S I already have? By the way, I would visit autopia daily just to see if you have any photos posted.

Great job as usual Scott. Those black cars are absolutely stunning! That escalade looks like another dimension or something. It looks like if I stuck my hand through the paint it would disappear. Oh and by the way your new caris lookin pretty good.

Carl-there is a difference between S100 and Souveran. It isn't huge, but it is noticable. Whether or not the difference in price is worth attaining a small but definite improvement is up to you. BTW, my experience has been that Souveran compliments Wolfgang very well, as you can see by my own car.

Thanks for the kind words about my pictures. I appreciate that!

More impressive work Scott. Thanks for sharing more cool pictures.

Souveran on your car looks very good. :xyxthumbs

Scott,

Would you consider ScratchX as an alternative to say 3M PI II RC? Do you apply it by hand, PC, or rotary? I have this product and am just trying to figure out how to work with it. I used it by hand with a foam pad and it did okay, but I certainly wouldn't think about doing large areas like this, I wouldn't have any hands left!
