Recent Detail v. Clean paint to go with new mods...

03COBRA

I miss my 03 Cobra......
Well the past few weeks I have been piecing together all of my mods that I've wanted to do to the car and they are finally on the car. So I thought I should make the outside look good to go with the mods. The first time I cleaned her up I only used VM to remove some of the light swirls, well now I wanted all of them gone. And I was looking through ScottWax post and saw his idea of Pink Moose, so I thought I would give it a try.

Wow Kyle your really building up the Cobra fast

Are you that worried about the new Z06s? lol :p ;)

Anyway the car looks fabulous. Looks like you spent a decent time with the PC, but it sure looks great. Are those new rims you put on it? I don't remember the black rims from before.

Also any plans for show mods or just go?

wow! a msutang I can say I actually like!!! Great job, those black wheels are hott, great choice... :woot:

where in norcal are you? I'm looking for someone who does detailing work near the bay area. so if you do work for $$ pm me your prices.

Great looking car and detail. However the black rims just dont do the car justice IMO (but not my car). What kind of 1/4 miles times does that beast put down?

Pink Moose, eh? I even called Everett about it, asked him to try it. Maybe he will offer it for sale?

Your car looks completely awesome!

Thanks to everyone for the nice words, and thanks to others for the honesty...

Johnny: Worried about the new ZO6, maybe a little. But with the mods I have now mine should be a low 11 second car. So I should have about 40-50RWHP on a stock ZO6. The wheels are new, I went on eBay looking for some wider rears and stumbled across these and couldn't resist. As far as show mods, maybe some 18's with deep dish in the rear and some tine. Other than that I love the exterior of the Cobra and wouldn't change a thing. :)

1SLOW50: The guage pod is made by Speed Of Sound LLC. The upper guage is made by Innovate motorsports and is a digital Air/Fuel guage. It's highly important to my car considering the mods I have. The lower is an Autometer boost guage. It lights up green and looks very similiar to the stock cluster color.

dandydaniel: I'm in Sacramento. I don't really do the work for money. I would rather refer you to a professional on here that does get paid for their work. I would hate to take money from someone that makes a career out of this. But if nobody wants to help you out I might be able to work something out. I'll let you know...

LightngSVT: Before the mods I just put on it ran a 12.3 @ 118MPH. I'm hoping for low 11's after everything is said and done. :)

Scottwax: I think you came up with a great idea Scott. I love how well it spreads. And removal was very easy. It would be a good idea for Everett to update and come up with a new product with some bite, but yet the wetness of RMG...
