Rear glass weatherstrip coating failure

Have a 1990 Reatta coupe and the rear glass as well as the windshield weatherstripping / seal / moulding has lost or is loosing the color coded factory coating. Any ideas on replacement coating would be appreciated. (weatherstriping on the lower / horizontal section is crazing or spyderwebbing / cracking lightly in places but not bad enough for replacement).

Thanks for the reply....



Not plastic coated but coated with a hard enamel paint or some other type of coating. Burns and featheredges like paint when a buffer is applied by mistake. I was thinking about trying some SEM waterbourne semi gloss waterbourne dye....suggesstions please?
