Really tough E320, Accord, Suburban, more of the GTI

Scott, excellent work as always!

Your thread reminded me of a question I have had for a few weeks. I have EX-P and not the EX w/ nuba. What curing time would you recommend between EX-P and then an application of RMG followed by Natty's Blue?

Why would you use RMG over a sealant? It does have some cleaning power, albeit pretty light but it might be enough to remove most, if not all cured EX-P...so I guess whenever you want to use RMG and NB would be fine since it'll probably remove cured or uncured EX-P.

That's the million$ question, isn't it...

But the problem is, using no LSP isn't advisable, and Natty's over RMG reputedly gives the deep lustre I desire. Using any LSP last, would just cover those results, not to mention, won't bond well with carnauba to begin with and the longevity will go down the drain.

Scott, how do you think the CK Compound compares in agressiveness to OHC? Also, do you have any idea of the durability of the OCW/CJ mix? Loving the wetness on the GTI.

Clearkote Compound seems as aggressive as OHC, finishes down a little better on softer paints. A new version of OHC is due out shortly though, so this would be compared to the current version only.

OCW and CJ hold up for around 3 months for me, but it hasn't rained much the past 18 months here. Can't promise they'd hold up as well in areas of constant rain. Anyway, mixed together, seems pretty similar in durability to each product alone.
