read these wash techniques(LOL!!!)

While I wouldn't be interested in some of their concoctions, the Kerosene in wash water has been around for 50 years or more.

Baking soda is a good cleaning agent and acid neutralizer. And speaking of concoctions, how about the Tide & Oxiclean mixture on this board for cleaning carpets. It evidently worked for that individual. Maybe some of YOU people should try their suggestions and let me know how it works. My mixture will continue to be 3M Carnauba over Meguiar's Medallion. That is pretty extreme for me, but boy does it look good. Never would have considered mixing manufacturers until I started reading this forum. Keep an open mind, (sometimes brain will fall out).

I don't have a truck but my friend does. Look its ok to laugh but perhaps not in someones face. I know because I have been changing out a toliet for a week and my wife just can not hold it in any longer. Ok, I am waiting for a sale!

hmmm woolite rinse to prevent spots.

maybe that might not be good for your car, but maybe they could make something in a QD form that you can spray on water spots to have the water dry spot free, sorta like a final rinsing agent or something.

I'll stick to Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo.

Sheesh! That's like suggesting that you use Comet as a swirl remover. Or maybe a little soft scrub would be better? <img src="http://www.ford-trucks.com/dcforum/Images/ugone2far.gif" Its funny how people try to figure out how to use their normal house cleaner stuff on their car. Why don't they do a little looking on the internet? They might just find Autopia and get set straight.

LMAO. I like that.... Comet for swirls. No doubt applied with a fresh SOS pad :shocked .
