Re -color/staining faded plastic door panels

Nissan Frontier with hard plastic door panels that have faded overtime due to sun or damage or..... Tried a number of cleaners so know it isn`t dirty and the color does not return. Does anyone make a stain or product to restore faded plastic door panels?

Look into Sem (semproducts.com). They make oem color match coatings sprays for interior plastics.

If you`re brave and the circumstances are right... Meaning you can get the panel out of the vehicle and isolate the plastic.

I have used this before on a chin spoiler that had faded.

I`ve used Dupicolor vinyl and fabric paint. Not quite sure how scratch resistant it would be on hard plastic.

We used it alot back in the day for custom stereo installs and custom panels. Hood good match and dried well. The ones i did see later down the road look to be holding up well.

I did a couple panels in my F150 with Fusion paint from WalMart. IT`s held up well.

Ah, sounds like they`ve improved the stuff over the years! I`d always found it *very* fragile (and yeah, I did prep right ).
