I have been counseling a few guys over on the corvette forums that have never detailed before, and getting great results with Todd's "Rapid Flash" schedule on their new C7 Vettes:
1. clay using dawn and a fine nanoskin sponge
2. BF TPnS with a GG6 - med pad
3. 2 coats BF Crystal Seal

Easy for a novice:

I believe you can order the calipers in various colors.

diff colors get you no diff....just the color - red and yellow are the options...
