Range Rover, S65, and GL450

Whew! What a day. This was a new client with some great connections. He is going to have me come back on a weekly basis to maintain these three vehicles and a fourth one that I haven't seen yet. The guy is a real estate investor, so I guess that explains the money. He has an extra $50K tied up in that S65 with the RENNTECH additions. I'm not sure what all they include, but the carbon fiber engine cover and some other upgrades under the hood that add an extra hundred or so HP are involved.

The Range Rover got a wash, clay, and XMT 360. The GL450 got the same treatment. The S65 got a wash, clay, and then Four Star Light Cutting Compound followed by Wolfgang. All in all I'd say they came out pretty good. They were all 2007 model years, so how bad could they really have been, right? Still, it isn't every day that I get to detail $300,000 worth of cars. :)

Ok, here we go. Prepare for the photos. :)

Awesome cars and nice detailing! It looks like you found a great customer.:bigups It looks like that neighborhood might have a couple other potential clients too.

That's the funny thing... His cars are worth more than his house. Those are fairly standard homes for that area. The high end houses are up on the east side of the mountain. Those houses are in the 250 - 300 range. He could be living in a much nicer neighborhood with the kind of money he is making. The neighbors didn't drive bad cars, but there were lots of mini-vans and ten year old Accords around. His garage contents are really out of place there.

Decent house with extravagant toys. That's how I'd be living if I had that kind of money. It's funny how much house you can get some places for that kind of money, down here those homes would be double or more give or take where exactly there at in town. Well I'm sure he can hook you up with some of his friends or clients that would love your services.;)

Very nice work indeed. How much fun was it detailing those types of vehicles? Did you run into any issues with any of them?

I love the housing costs here. My in-law's house in the Bay area is half the size and worth twice as much as mine. My house isn't huge, but I've got a nice sized front and back yard, a two car garage, five bedrooms and two bathrooms. You can't hope for more than that when you've only got two kids. :) I'm sure I could get gold plated door knobs like some of the homes I've seen around here, but the property and house values are still really affordable. I can understand why the area is growing so fast.

The only issues I had were the little cracks and gaps that product liked to hide in on both Mercedes. There are all sorts of little things on the bumpers that polish loved to get into and I had to clean out. Other than that it wasn't anything that a PC with a blue Edge 2000 pad and the right polishes couldn't handle. :)
