I choose my tire dressings based on car color.

Dark color cars look better IMO with low shine dressings, I use E1 Protectant.

Light color cars, especially metallic ones look best with higher shine like Vinylex or even Meguiar's Endurance or TW Tire Gel.

So it rained here in texas a few days ago I finally got around to washing car now I have water spots from rain that won't come off. I have two coats of bfwd on the car from last month. Not sure what i should do to get rid of water spots?????

The quicker you can get to this the better. If they are truly fresh, they shouldn't be to terribly hard to remove :-?

Get an orange pad and do "Tha KBM" :-?

1) Saturate pad with Meguiars 105

2) Lean hard (but not hard enough to break the shaft) and work in small areas 18"x18"

3) When the product dries, mist the surface with water and go at it again

4) Move to the next area and apply two dots of product (Megs 105) and repeat the above process

Have you already tried a cleaner wax (something like Klassee AIO )?

You can also try white vinegar. There are manufacturers out there that make dedicated water spot removers as well.

Wash, Clay, Vinegar, KBM if needed then seal again with a coat or 2 of wax to follow

All I have is m 205, ultimate compound, and scratch x no m105.

You can try 205 if the other methods dont work , thats all you may need . Of course then you need to wax or seal again afterwards .

Test with 205. If that isn't working, Ultimate Compound should do the trick :wizard:

Is your car clearcoated or single stage? Ive never seen a car here water spotted by just rain ,its almost always from sprinklers .

I guess different areas have trouble with acid rain , but luckily Ive never encountered that problem where I live.

well not to sure its a factory ford paint job. but i belive what happened was i drove around to long without washing my car and it was baked on by the texas sun lol. will do my best next time to not let that happen
