Rain, sleet and snow

Mr. Clean

The Man Who Knows The Man
here in the D/FW area this a.m. at least I think it was snow...we see it so rarely. :) It was cold enough for the snow to stick in grassy areas and on rooftops, but the major arteries were just wet. Continued temp drops could result in some icy slick streets later this evening.

Scott P, yeah we thought that this was going to wind up further south towards Austin and Houston and miss us completely. But....

Steve, your world??? Just what world is that? Is that Poorboy's world? :D

It's global warming.
Or it was.
This is all Al Gore's fault. Since he bought all those carbon credits.

It is turning colder here in northern Indiana also.
It was in the mid 50's yesterday but only got to lower 40's today and they say snow showers tomorrow night.
Ground is still too warm for it to stick but we have not seen any snow yet this fall and that is unusual to go through November with no snow.

Well this morning, based on the condition of the main thoroughfares (totally dry) and the sunny skies, you would never know the snow event ever happened. That's one thing I love about Texas weather...don't like it...wait a few minutes. :) Now the cold...that's something else it is in the low 30s this a.m. and they are predicting a hard freeze Fri/Sat and more chances for s-n-o-w.

They were calling for some snow here (Austin area) We got a whole 3 minutes or so of light to heavy snow. Then it cleared up, blue skies, so I washed my van.

I just had "Jack" (the girl dog with a boy's name) out in the snow, it's really coming down in huge flakes here. She runs like a mad dog, playing with the local kids. It is fun to watch a 13 year old dog act as if she is a 2 year old.:D

I was watching the weather channel and they said SW Michigan would get up to 14 inches today and that is a little more than 100 miles from me.

We are to get some snow showers Monday morning but some accumulation will be on Wednesday.

Been good fall warm November and no snow yet.
