Rain, Mud, Road Slop: UGH

It's been raining, on and off, here in MD for the past week, and my Grand Marq is lookin' terrible! People who haven't seen my new car before tell me it's beautiful, but I want to cringe when they say that because they haven't seen it when it is CLEAN. There's no sense in my trying to wash and QD it. As soon as I get back onto the road, the slop from other cars covers it again.



BTW, I hate it when a lane is mostly dry, but there is a long line of wet slop on one part of the lane. Some idiot will pass me, then pull over, not onto the dry part of the lane, but onto the slop. Then they will drive for miles and miles, roostertailing the slop all over my ride. AUGH.

I guess you may have to wait until spring for a clean car. I know I'm not looking forward to it. It's actually snowing just south of here right now.
