Rain is cutting into Christmas tip season

2 good regulars today and it is raining, just like last Tuesday. :angry

It has been my experience that if your regulars don't have the opportunity to tip you prior to Christmas because of the weather, they seem to forget once Christmas has passed. :sadpace:

At least the next 4 days look spectacular weather-wise and the tips this year so far have been more than generous. I'll still probably end up working the morning of Christmas Eve though.

When I was in LE, there was no such thing as a Holiday!

All I will say is that this Christmas is looking very good! I know what you mean thought Scott. Once it passes, you can pretty much forget about it.

Side note, I have a Navigator at my house now that has been here since Sunday evening. The owner want's everything PERFECT! He's paying a perfect price too!:):D

I was in restuarant management for years. I've worked more holidays for more years than you've been alive. ;)

Where is the damn slam dunk icon?! :rofl :rofl :rofl

Spoiled: Are we gonna receive any pics for this concours job?

Sean, it doesn't really look like it. It's just a silver truck with black interior that appeared to have been lived in for the last 3 years. It was a lease that he decided to keep and after he decided to keep it he made quick use of me. I got this one in a weird kind of way. He's my mail carriers husband and she told him about the work she saw leaving here and the rest is history. The good thing about this is that he recognizes that it's a lot of work and IS willing to pay for it without the smallest complaint as long as it's perfect.

Edit: I have never done anything like this job. If it's removable, it has been removed(except the front seats) and cleaned. All interior trim pieces, seats and so forth.

It definitely has been an experience. He's been coming by to check progress and is already telling friends about this and they're calling already to get their place in line. :woot:

That’s what happens when you do exceptional work

I got two $100 tips in the space of 2 days last week! Good thing too, since my PC died yesterday. :LOLOL

Scott - You should be here in H-Town the last couple of days. The weather has been in the 70s and not a cloud in the sky. Absolutely beautiful. The darn local tunnel wash has been packed to the gills!! As I was sitting in the Jack In the Box drive-thru (gourmet meal prior to today's detail), I was watching the workers over there wipe down Escalades and Benzes with filthy drying towels :cringe. Oh to be none the wiser!
