That stuff was incredible in terms of beading (for an over-the counter- product).
This was also about the time Turtle Wax came out with the Poly-Shell System. I still have an original in-the-box set of the 3-part chemical application and after-wash maintenance bottle. Not sure how good it is, as it's never been opened, but I do shake it up now-and-then. It was about $20.00 at K-mart back in 1978-79, I think, which was a lot of money when you could buy Turtle Wax Hard Shell for about $3.00 for a 16 oz. bottle. I used it on my black Mercury Monarch. Worked pretty good by hand.
Coral Blue Blue Poly was big about then, too.( A REALLY long-lasting and reflective polish/wax for its day) That's what I used before Rain Dance and TW- Poly Shell.
Eventually I found Mirror Glaze (<u>before</u> it was Meguiars!) No. 6 and TR3 Resin Glaze.(Now I know when my Obsessive-Compulsive Detailing started!!)
