Racing School - what I did last week

that is very very  , the review is great.

i wish my car had some driving ability. (it's only a grocery getter 94 camry, but it's swirl free :xyxthumbs ),

i guess the day will come (just turned 20).

have to say im impressed .,....................................................... Are you going to drive at the INDY 500 next year?

Carguy,

I noticed you live in CA.. I know you go out with porche club and stuff, but have you ever gone to the road course with NASA/Open-track? I am out there once in a while and it is a blast and very instructional. A few weeks ago I went out to willow springs and there were lots of vipers and porche 911 turbos :)

check out http://www.nasaproracing.com

and http://www.open-track.com

They usually circulate around all the great tracks on the west coast. I've so far been to Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Willow Springs Raceway. Most fun I've had with my clothes on ;)

I haven't, but I know they're good guys. I run with tracquest (http://www.tracquest.com) mostly - but I only do a few events a year - I don't have the time, interest, $$, or family situation to support doing it more often. But its enough for me. Running on great tracks in cool cars - it doesn't get much better than that!

Greg,

I was checking out the website for trackquest just now... and noticed that it's $500 for a two day event!!

You should come out with the SoCal Alfa Romeo Owner's Club some time... any make/model car is welcome, and there are usually more Porsches than Alfas anyway ;)

The events are always two days (Sat & Sun) and the club runs at Willow Springs, Buttonwillow, Laguna Seca, California Speedway, and others. Price is between $170-200 depending on the track (Laguna being the most expensive)... and you get LOTS of track time.

Check it out... there's a schedule at http://www.arosc.org
