This was another car in my customers collection, when I first saw the car I was like that a weird looking black, I cant say I like that but When I brought this car outside the colour is something else. I enjoyed working on this car although there was it fair share of defects.

There was its fair share of defects in the paint, this would get a full correction and interior. Start with the wheels, i used Sonax for the wheels, great wheel cleaner

DSCN0915.JPG

Various brushes were used to agitate the wheels

This is how they should look

I then gave the car a pre-rinse and then sprayed the car with P21s Auto Wash

I let the Auto Wash dwell for a few minutes before i foamed the car down with Dawn and GG Citrus Wash

Again that was left to dwell for several mintues and i used a swissvax brush to agitate trim pieces then washed with 2 bucket method

Then rinsed off before claying

The car was brought in and clayed with DI fine clay and DoDo Juice Born Slippy. I then blew the excess water off and dried the car

Onto the correction, I used several different combos on this car and tools, I used my flex and makita for this job

DSCN0934.JPG

After couple passes with MF system, I was looking for more correction

DSCN0935.JPG

I tried out the Tang pad/D300

50/50 trunk, I was achieving what i was looking for

Still hazy but defects were removed

DSCN0951.JPG

After the compounding was done i went back over the car with Tang M205

DSCN0952.JPG

I dressed the tires with Opti Bond and then moved onto the interior

I forgot to take a picture but i sealed the car with BLackfire. Heres the final shots

I love the car, not sure I'm diggin' the interior color.

My buddy just got a 550i this past week with the same basic look but that "brown" interior looks a bit better on the BMW.

Nice work. I think the color combination is classy, something different for once.

Thanks Kody, When i first saw the car I was like thats a weird looking black but it really grows on you

I dig the interior color, personally. It's like a party inside!

My Cayman S has a Terracotta leather interior. Kind of a orangy-red. Not everyones cup of tea, but it does stand out.

I'd be all over that interior color...if it didn't extend into the headliner. Then again, it might grow on me. Nice work David. I hear you've got something BIG coming up soon!:cooleek:

I actually like the color combo?! Looks phenomenal when done!

Surprised to see you wearing a bulky watch while working on the car? I don't trust myself enough to risk that. :(
