I also didn't think you could use cleaner wax, then put on a coat of somthing else, after reading these threads. Interesting, thanks for the help.

It would all depend on the product. Some "might" have bonding issues, while others wouldnt.



If you were to use Meguiar's Color X, and then wanted to top it with Meguiar's NXT wax, it would work perfectly. I would think that you can follow a cleaner wax with something else for a majority of the time. When you think of what you want to do, just let us know and we will give any input

Well what I was thinking of doing was setting down a layer of some polish. ( can you reccommend anything that is off the shelf of local stores that does a good job), and then lay down a coating of NXT, then a nice coating of some meguiars gold class, or mothers carnuba wax.
