Quickie Cleanup on a Silver Z06

Well I used to own her and I still get to drive her at the track once in a while. So damm right I clean her too. :2thumbs:



Car has 82k miles and approx 55 trackdays. New owner has pretty much turned this into his track toy.



Motor is stock cubes with 472rwhp and 422rwtq

AP racing brake kit

Alot of suspension work



It was very nice to work with a lift. :thumbs:



Come on, its not that dirty.... :eek:

Process:

Spray rear of car with PB Bug squash 1:1 water

QEW-clay-QEW

3M Adhesive remover for left over Adhesive due to rear spoiler install.

QEW areas again that had contact with 3M Adhesive remover.

Polish car with Zaino ZPC and orange P2 pads PC6

Apply 2x of Z2pro w/ ZFX

Quick polish of exhaust tips with blue magic.



Will remove wheels/tires next week and clean wheels then.

What mods? Lemme guess.. heads, high CR pistons, intake, LSX manifold, long tubes, X pipe no cats, cam w/supporting valve train, and tune? :)

AFR heads

fast intake/manifold

Not sure of the cam specs

LTs

Tune of course.



On the track the AP racing brakes are the key to this car IMO.
